We've all had a loooong winter.. even those of us from the Sunshine State.
What better way to welcome spring than a dress with the sun all over it?

I created this dress from new t-shirts whose bottoms were miss-printed and would otherwise have ended up in the trash. The applique is also created using recycled t-shirt scraps. Comes in sizes xs-xl!

back to my roots

this has been a summer of going back to my roots.

i studied pottery in college and thought that was how i would spend my days. however, i got a little sidetracked and making clothing and accessories took over. so now i'm back to let you know i can really shake 'em down..... er.. uh... i mean... to let you see some of my new ceramic goodness.

above is one of my new signature stamps (or signets as i like to call them). they will be stamped on all of my new ceramic work with or with out my written signature. i haven't decided yet. so stay tuned cuz i've got a whole lot of ceramic goodness coming your way.

here's big mama with cubist literature's lovely monster sewing machine patch. i saw the shirt while browsing his etsy store and knew i had to have one (or two). i hit him up for a custom request for some patches and he got back to me and had them ready that very same day! how's that for service?!

mufyn and the liberace of yoga

i stopped by the new i love yoga world headquarters after teaching my theatre class today. the space is huge and undergoing gargantuan transformations right now. it will house their workshop, sewing studio, screen printing studio, store, offices, yoga studio, shipping and receiving, and conference space. moses aka the liberace of yoga and founder of i love yoga and i took a couple quick shot on my way out the door.

miami art space

my friend leslie, the superstar ragamufyn model, and i went out on the town this weekend hitting up a few art parties around the design district and wynwood.

the miami art space we came upon this groovy space filled with giant inflated balls by the magical miami artists friends with you.

i want some in my living room.

adorable shopper.

this adorable little shopper was at the store tonight having herself a fabulous time with all the little ragamufyn dresses. almost all the pictures i took of her were blurry cuz she was fast like the wind.

having a panty fixation

as it turns out, my panty fixation has turned into something more.

it all started one day when i was tired of my underpants (hehehe) and decided to try my hand at making my own panties. why not?! i make practically everything else.

so i got down to it. i picked through my stash, found the perfect knits, drafted a pattern and voila! panties! they were marvelous.....

but then......

i thought well, hey. if i just cut them a bit more generous a girl could totally rock these on so many different occasions. just think..... with a cape and some pink fishnets. at the beach, yoga class, well, pretty much anywhere in miami. it really wouldn't surprise me to see them walking down the aisle of my nearest publix.

after all that thought i knew i needed to complete the outfit with a matching yoga bra top.

it's hot. and should be available soon at the local store or my etsy store or maybe both.

ragamufyn photoshoot!

i gathered up all the lovely ragamufyn ladies and headed out for a mufyn flavored photo shoot!

these fine fine gals rocked out the ragamufyn style and made me happier than a girl in a fabric store with a black american express card.

the fabulous graffiti wall we used as our backdrop was painted by none other than lady pink, an old school brooklyn graffiti artist and a fine fine lady.

we had a completely fabulous day, so fabulous in fact that i will use the word 'fabulous' more than three times in one blog post.

it was that good.
